Kato Drys (Birthplace of Ayios Neofytos), located in the Larnaca district of Cyprus is a small peaceful village some 520 m above sea level with a medieval character. The climate is cool and dry in summer and mild in winter. It has a rich history and interesting architecture, flora and fauna. Garden Kamara House is a traditional two storey stone village house that was built in 1915 in the Cypriot style, This listed house was carefully restored in 2004 using traditional materials from the surrounding region to blend in with the general environment of the hills of the Larnaka district. The owners of the house have created a folk art museum and a traditional workshop producing wine, zivania and embroidery. They specialise in Bee keeping, the owner has his own bees and produces his own honey which he also sells in the museum. The house has an enormous garden with many fruit trees and an organic vegetable garden The house consists of two bedrooms, one on the ground floor with en-suite shower and one on the top floor where the bathroom with the bath is located. The beds are traditional Cypriot 4 poster beds made of iron and brass. There are 2 balconies on the 1st floor.

From Larnaka airport,get the highway to Limassol exit to Skarinou Lefkara and follow the signs on left to Kato-drys.From Pafos get the highway to Limassol then to Nicosia and off the highway to Skarinou Lefkara, follow the signs on your left to Kato-drys. On entry to the village follow the Aroads; the house is some 300meters on your left hand side. There are signs to Garden Kamara House

Stay at home and read your book or play chess which we have set out under the big tree, enjoy silence and if you like stories learn all about the district from Elli. A welcome meal accompanied by sweet wine is offer by us on your arrival. We need to know if you are a vegetarian. For guests who stay for 7 days or longer we invite you to share a meal with us of traditional Cypriot food which includes Kleftico and Tava
