5.9a The "Booking Service" cancellation clause is as follows: Deposit is 20% of the total booking amount and any deposits are non refundable. All bookings are deemed to have a 20% deposit component that covers the cost of our webmaster, site promotion, local Cyprus advertising, search engine optimisation and other costs. Our Restaurant, established in desember 2005, was the first to introduce the idea of preparingy and cooking a meal , thereby allowing our diners to enjoy this. As is befitting the best and most experienced restaurant, we aim for and achieve the highest quality and standards. For the children we have a play area for them to play in and enjoy them selves. We also offer inside and outside tables on a large veranda.
Local Attractions:
Mountain Trails, Village Community activities. The best way to explore the Troodos area is by renting a car. Roads are excellent, signs are in English as well as Greek (as everywhere else) and the panoramas are awe-inspiring. A good starting point is the Pitsylia area, with numerous villages where you can sample local wines, honey and cheeses. The largest hill resort is higher up, Platres, immortalized in George Seferis? poem according to which the ?nightingales of Platres? sing all night long. The upper portion of the town, Pano Platres, exudes an Alpine feel with its small hotels, cafes and bakeries. In the wintertime, Platres is a good starting point for skiing excursions to Mount Olympus. The Troodos is also home to ten painted Byzantine churches, all on UNESCO?s World Heritage List.
